I would file nearly 70 of the tab. Given the cover does not properly remove, Ranger owners are forced to break the unit to get the bulbs out.

Do yourself a favor and file down the rear clips of the clear cover of this dome lamp prior to install. These are always in need because the clear plastic dome does not properly remove from the chrome covering. Bulbs included. Rangers are notorious for having a sticky door sensor that shows the door open even when it's closed which causes the dome light to stay on and the battery drains.
